Municipal district representative Dr. Ursula Stenzel ceremoniously presented the SCP certificate issued by TÜV AUSTRIA Cert to Ernst Zellner Personal Service Providers. The company, which has been in operation since 2000, successfully introduced SCP to its business. TÜV AUSTRIA Cert subsequently certified Ernst Zellner Personal Service Providers in mid-July according to the international SCP standard in a two-level audit. Zellner Personal Services Providers highly values the quality and safety of the personal services on offer. Orientation by the clients' and employees' needs are at the heart of Mr. Ernst Zellner's very personally managed company. What convinced TÜV AUSTRIA Cert auditor Ing. Edgar Jochinger to issue a recommendation for certification in particular were the employees' great interest, as well as how very well requirements had been met and operative documentations compiled.
SCP - the Personal Service Provider Certificate The acronym SCP is short for "Safety Certificate for Personal Service Providers" and originated in the Netherlands. The local national council for accreditations recognised the SCC system (safety certificate for contractors) already in 1994. In 1995, Germany developed a certification system according to SSC-criteria and accepted it into the accreditation system. An Austria SCC certification system was also developed in 1998 and adopted for accreditiation by the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth. TÜV AUSTRIA Cert offers personal service providers an accredited certification procedure for this standard, in consideration of safety, health and environmental (German abbreviation "SGU"). SCP is especially geared towards the requirements of time-work. Businesses operating in this field receive from TÜV AUSTRIA Cert a sound certificate on the state of work and safety protection at the audited personal service provider. The corner stones of the SCP system are, for instance, politics, management organisation and commitment, training and instruction of employees, communication, as well as ordered conduct in case of accidents and unsafe situations on company premises and on site. The improvement of safety, health and also environmental protection are in the foreground of the SCP system. The advantages are obvious. One the one hand, accidents and sick leaves are greatly reduced while safety awareness among employees is increased. On the other hand, the transparent SGU system provides the certified business with legal safety. An SCP certificate naturally improves the image and trustworthiness of a company as well. Since an implemented SGU system is increasingly required of larger firms as well as for successful bids, the SCP certification also clearly raises the competitiveness of certified businesses.
