The 2nd International Conformity Assessment Symposium was held from April 19th - 20th in Istanbul.

The former TUV AUSTRIA head of Machinery, Lifting and Handling Technology Dipl.-Ing. Adolf Russold and, in his capacity as president of CEOC International, TUV AUSTRIA HOLDING AG CEO Director Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Hugo Eberhardt were invited to give presentations.

In his impressive lecture, Dipl.-Ing. Russold reviewed the Machinery Directive and its particularities.

Director Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Eberhardt elaborated on the exciting subject "New Developments of International Conformity Assesssment", dealing with both legal and normative aspects.

With more than 300 attendees, interest in the 2nd International Conformity Assessment Symposium was sizeable.
