Golden Order of Merit for Services to the Republic of Austria

Dipl.-Ing. Theodoros Kaparos, who had been the general manager of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS Ltd. for many years, received the Golden Order of Merit for Services to the Republic of Austria on account of his successful work to the benefit of the Austrian economy.

The celebrations unfolded in the premises of trade commissioner Mag. Bruno Freytag in Athens. The Austrian ambassador to Greece, Dr. Michael Linhart, presided over the award ceremony, reserving particular praise for Dipl.-Ing. Kaparos' exceptional achievements. Around 40 high-ranking guests of honour attended the festivity.

Dr. Hugo Eberhardt, the CEO of TÜV AUSTRIA HOLDING AG, lauded in his congratulatory speech Mr. Kaparos' enormous personal commitment, his vast expert knowledge as well as his personal, human, down-to-earth manner. Dr. Eberhardt furthermore noted the successful handover of managerial duties at the turn of the year to Dipl.-Ing. Yiannis Kallias, who capably leads the company in economically difficult times.
