Type tests simplify compulsory tests of serial products prior to operation and guarantee TÜV-tested safety, quality and suitability for devices that are not subject to compulsory first tests. Constructions and components must fulfill the following requirements:
By forming models the calculation is carried out corresponding to the loads and influences are compared with the resistance of the construction. For many years the models have been formed according to the laws of mechanics, statics and dynamics; the loads and calculations arise from the directives and technical regulations (i.e. Austrian, German and international standards, EN Euro-Codes). These demand particular tests according to the calculation regulations with regard to minimum safeties and tolerable tensions (partly also deformation).
