Wie uns das österreichische Gesundheitsministerium mitteilte, beabsichtigt eine Firma namens KSM Inc. Medizinprodukte auf den europäischen Markt zu bringen, die Krebs und HIV+ heilen sollten. Dabei ist unklar, ob diese Produkte CE-gekennzeichnet sind oder nicht. Die amerikanische FDA – Food and Drug Administration erklärt in einem Warnschreiben, dass von diesen Produkten keinerlei klinische Prüfungen durchgeführt worden sind und daher der Verkauf in den USA untersagt wurde. The European Commission has been informed that a company called KSM, Inc. has the intention to sell its product, and that within a few weeks they have contracts to ship hundreds of these devices to EU for hospitals and private clinics to use to cure cancer and HIV+. From the information provided it is not clear if the products are CE marked. The FDA has already issued a warning letter http://www.fda.gov/foi/warning_letters/b6313d.htm. The FDA explained that the company has not done any clinical research in compliance with FDA regulations and that their product can not be sold in the USA. Where market surveillance authorities come across this product, the Commission would like to be informed of actions taken.
