R&TTE directive 99/5/EC for radio and telecommunication end devices
Due to the new directive 99/5/EC for radio and telecommunication end devices the conditions for the putting on the market and placing into operation of radio and telecommunication end devices have been considerably changed.
|TÜV AUSTRIA certificate (l), Declaration of Conformity|
The directive became effective April 7, 1999 and has been implemented in national law April 8, 2000.
TUV Austria is notified body for the R&TTE directive 99/5/EC and therefore entitled to certify all procedures of the directive.
Since April 8, 2000 for radio and telecommunication end devices that come under the R&TTE directive the conformity assessment procedures have to be applied according to the directive.
For this reason the existing directives 98/13/EC for telecommunication end devices and satellite radio installations as well as the EMC directive 89/336/EEC became irrelevant.
