Standards Service (Harmonized Standards)

 

Harmonized standards are of special importance for the European approval procedure. Their application or compliance leads to a simplified conformity assessment procedure for the CE-marking of the respective products.

Harmonized standards are subject to relatively rapid changes and supplements by new European standards. They will be published in regular intervals in the official journal of the European Union. The actual status of the harmonized standards for the respective EU directive is available in the "News and Downloads" section.
